Is your office open for all dental services?

Yes, we are! As an essential service, Dentists in Ontario are currently permitted to provide in-person care for all dental services like cleanings, fillings, and routine care. This is in accordance with guidance from the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and the Ministry of Health.

Are you accepting New Patients? Emergencies?

We are absolutely accepting New Patients and Emergencies!
If you are interested in becoming a new patient, do not hesitate to contact us by phone or email.
You can refer to the New Patient section of our website for answers to common questions about your first visit.
If you have a dental emergency, please phone our office at 647-352-1099.

What changes have been made to the office and what can I expect at my next appointment?
We have added new measures to enhance the safety of our patients and staff by:

  • Pre-Screen link via text or email to complete the day before dental appointment
  • Hand sanitizer upon entry to practice, mask provided if needed
  • Ensuring social distancing is maintained
  • Medical grade air-purifiers in each operatory
  • Plexiglass at the reception desk
  • Paperless checkout with electronic copies of insurance submission and receipt

If you have any further questions, we would be happy to answer them by phone or by email.

What enhanced cleaning procedures will take place between patient visits?

Commerce Dental has always followed the highest standard when it came to infection prevention and control. We will ensure that the cleaning and disinfection of high touch surfaces occurs frequently, using only Health Canada approved disinfectants for use against COVID-19.

Is the air being purified in the office?

We have added Medical Grade Air purifiers with Hepa -13 filters to each operatory to enhance the air quality for our patients and staff.

Can I have a Virtual consultation and what is the cost?

Teledentistry or “virtual visits” will be implemented as a method to help triage patient care for existing patients of the practice. In those cases where telephone or virtual/remote management is insufficient, we can agree on the best course of care and when an in-person visit is required. These e-consults are a billable service that can be submitted to your insurance company. Most insurers are covering this and we can work with you to help you understand your coverage.

How do I book an appointment?

You can book by phone or by email.

You can also book your cleanings online on our website at Book an Appointment.
